Joykids Australia Presents the Joykids Family Rave: A Weekend Adventure Like No Other

Get ready to kick off the first day of summer and the festive season with an unforgettable family adventure! Joykids Australia is excited to announce the Joykids Family Rave—an exhilarating day filled with live music, dancing, and joyous moments for families of all ages. This one-of-a-kind event will take place on Sunday 1st December 2024 at the iconic Sydney Town Hall, offering an unforgettable experience in a stunning and vibrant setting.

The Joykids Family Rave blends the energy of 90’s house music classics with live performances by Kaleidoscope Dream and DJ Adam Katz, creating a high-energy atmosphere that parents and kids will love. With an emphasis on family fun, this event is designed to bring everyone together—parents, carers, grandparents and children—to connect, laugh, and dance in a safe, inclusive environment.

Joykids Australia has partnered with the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) and a portion of ticket sales will be donated to support the ILF’s mission to provide essential reading resources to underprivileged communities across Australia.

Event Highlights:

Live Music and DJ Sets: Enjoy a high-energy vibe with live musical performances and house music classics that everyone will love.

Thoughtful Kids Activities: “Sparkle stations” with free face painting and hair braiding. ● A Bar for Parents: Doltone House will provide cold beers, wines, and tasty snacks—giving parents the chance to unwind while enjoying the fun.

Giving Back: Visit the ILF Storybook Pop-Up featuring a variety of beautifully crafted books by Indigenous authors.

"We’re thrilled to bring generations of music lovers together, to create unforgettable moments of joy," says Laura Davoren, Founder of Joykids Australia. “As a full-time working mum, I understand the challenges of finding family events that are as fun for the parents as they are for the kids. There’s a real gap in the market for experiences that cater to both, and with the support of the City of Sydney, we’ve been able to curate this live music experience in the breathtaking Sydney Town Hall—a venue with incredible acoustics and historic charm.”

Joykids Australia is committed to creating an inclusive, lively space where families can enjoy music, movement, and activities together. The Joykids Family Rave is a perfect way to introduce kids to the joy of music while providing parents with the chance to relive their favorite tunes in a family-friendly atmosphere.

This event is ideal for families seeking something special and unique to celebrate the weekend. With a focus on creativity and connection, the Joykids Family Rave will be an experience that everyone can enjoy.
