Kinder Joy & Harry Potter Sydney Pop-Up: Sunday 29 September

  • Written by The Times

Kinder is bringing a touch of magic to Australian shores with its NEW Kinder Joy Harry Potter Funko POP! collection. To celebrate, Manly Wharf will be transformed into Platform 9 ¾ on Sunday, 29th September.

For one day only, families will be able to enjoy the delicious taste of Kinder Joy and immerse themselves in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at an iconic setting from the beloved series that fans will instantly recognise.

Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws and Slytherins will have the opportunity to have their picture taken on Platform 9 ¾, participate in an interactive spin-the-wheel game for a chance to WIN a range of prizes and, of course, sample the delicious new Kinder Joy chocolate egg which features Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and other iconic characters, along with pencil toppers, sticky notes and bookmarks.

Set to spark imagination and excite Harry Potter fans, the pop-up will provide parents with a fun way to connect with their kids as they share the global phenomenon with an all-new generation of witches and wizards. Dress up as your favourite character and head down to Manly Wharf where you can visit Platform 9 ¾, celebrating the magical movie moment when Harry Potter runs full speed at the wall between platforms 9 and 10 transporting him out of the muggle world and on to Hogwarts.

Housed in the iconic Kinder egg shape that Aussies know and love, Kinder Joy is an experience in itself. One half of the egg contains a delicious treat made of two layers of milky sweet creams topped with two crispy wafer bites filled with cocoa cream, the other half of the egg holds one of the 16 Harry Potter Funko POP! figurines and accessories.
