MARIAM SEDDIQ UNVEILS “ECHOES” AT AUSTRALIAN FASHION WEEK 2026

At Australian Fashion Week 2026, MARIAM SEDDIQ will unveil
“ECHOES”: a collection that exists in the  space between power and softness. The collection creates a space where sculptural tailoring meets fluid  drape, and graphic edge is softened by emotion, texture and movement.

MARIAM SEDDIQ continues to blur the line between wearable design and artistic expression, balancing  her artistic expression with elevated sophistication and tailoring. The collection - made up across 30 looks  - is designed for a global woman and transseasonal wardrobe, moving effortlessly across climates and  moments.

A rich monochromatic palette unfolds through smoked plum, mulberry-infused hues, tobacco, dark  chocolate and washed greys, layered with depth and restraint. Tailored structures are interrupted by  sheer mesh, liquid-like draping, faux leather and delicate embroidery, creating a quiet tension between  control and release. Prints drawn from Mariam’s own artistic expressions weave throughout the collection  like fragments of emotion - intimate, moody, tactile and unmistakably hers.

The collection is both commanding and fluid; a reflection of femininity that is not delicate, but deliberate.  Silhouettes are designed to move with the body, balancing strength with softness and precision,  continuing Mariam’s exploration of wearable art, creating pieces that feel both sophisticated in  construction, yet deeply expressive in spirit.

Designer & Creative Director, Mariam Seddiq: “Every collection begins with emotion and artistry. I’m  always drawn to the contrast between structure and fluidity, and the idea that something can feel powerful  while still holding softness and movement. This season feels deeply personal to me, almost like wearable  pieces of art designed to be lived in by women everywhere.”

Presented as an immersive continuation of the MARIAM SEDDIQ world, the collection arrives at  Australian Fashion Week as a refined exploration of the modern women - powerful yet fluid with instinct.  Where art, wearability and modern sophistication coexist with precision.

MARIAM SEDDIQ Runway Show will be presented on Wednesday, 13th May at 7:00pm. Entry is through  the Foundation Hall of Museum of Contemporary Art, Australia.
