Boutique adult escapes in demand at The Reef House

The Reef House Boutique Hotel & Spa Palm Cove is seeing a growth in demand since introducing Boutique Tropical Escapes offering individually curated experiences for each guest.

Director Malcolm Bean said discerning travellers are looking for getaways that provide rest, relaxation and rejuvenation with the luxury of bespoke service in a peaceful environment.

“We created Boutique Tropical Escapes so guests could choose inclusive packages and activities for their stay in our small hotel dedicated to adult house guests,” he said.

“The demand has been extraordinary with guests increasing their average length of stay from three and a half nights before the pandemic to five nights in 2022.

“They have also rewarded The Reef House Boutique Hotel & Spa Palm Cove through TripAdvisor reviews which earned the property the Number 10 placing in Australia’s 25 Best Hotels.

“Guests enjoy luxurious inclusions like a poolside butler delivering cold hand towels in the morning and sorbet in the afternoons, private poolside or in-room dining, and complimentary punch and canapes in the Brigadier’s Lounge at twilight.

“Our Escape Planning Specialists contact each guest in the lead-up to their arrival to customise a personalised itinerary of experiences to ensure total rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.

“About 70 per cent of our guests choose to do at least one of the inclusive classes on offer at The Reef House with cocktail making and wine tasting the most popular.

“Poolside stretch and breathe classes, beach yoga, skincare talks at the spa, and aqua aerobics are also in demand as part of the Boutique Tropical Escape complimentary inclusions.

“In addition, we can book guests on inspiring boutique tours to explore the Great Barrier Reef and the world’s oldest rainforest during their Palm Cove stay.

“Of course a good night’s sleep is essential to a restful holiday and we have recently installed Australian custom-designed Reef House mattresses to ensure guests are comfortable.

“This upgrade is part of a multi-million dollar refurbishment underway which has included additional art, sun lounges around our Mineral and Tranquility Pools, and new flooring for the restaurant’s wooden deck overlooking the Coral Sea.”
