JustCo Connecting with Australian Businesses Through Localisation Strategy

  • Written by: arize.com.au

Businesses are moving away from conventional leasing arrangements as the booming co-working market becomes more attractive, with global players such as JustCo bringing thousands of square metres to the market in the last 12 months.

The co-working provider is helping businesses do away with workspace management and instead enjoy cost savings, networking opportunities and flexibility to scale up or down their workspace as required.

Backed by GIC and Frasers Property, JustCo currently has close to 40 centres across Asia-Pacific, including four new offices across Sydney and Melbourne since their arrival in the Australian market in early 2019. JustCo’s fifth centre will be located at Melbourne’s newest landmark, Collins Arch, targeted to open in early Q2 2020.

Sheree McIntyre, Vice President and Head of JustCo Australia attributes the company’s rapid growth to their agile business model, which blends premium Asian hospitality with local culture.

JustCo has an intrinsic understanding of how Australians work, what they want in a co-working product and how JustCo can launch Australian businesses into the future of co-working.

Localising JustCo to the Australian market has been one of our most important priorities”, she says. “We are determined to bring Australia into the future of work with us – by first localising our product to fit the market, and then adding our own unique value to bring Australian businesses forward”.

The Australian centres feature spacious hot-desking areas, casual meeting rooms and ample open-concept collaboration areas, designed to reflect and enhance Australia’s relaxed and social working culture.

In Australia, we know that the locals take their coffee seriously. Hence, it was important for us to create an environment where members could get their daily dose of caffeine, connect with other members and discover collaborative opportunities”, Sheree said.

By reflecting the local culture in this way, our centres blend seamlessly with the way Australians work, socialise and connect professionally with one another, allowing us to facilitate a long-standing relationship with businesses across all industries”

The provider caters to businesses of all sizes, from smaller start-ups who require hotdesking space to large established businesses, who are serviced through JustCo’s Enterprise360 service. This unique offering provides flexible workspace solutions for large corporate clients, helping them to conceptualise and customise their own office spaces from the implementation of brand signages, private entrances to waiting areas and more.

A strong community focus means that members of the space also have access to exclusive lifestyle and professional events, and can also establish new business collaborations through the JustConnect function on the JustCo App. Acting as a gateway for JustCo members to access the global community at the touch of their fingertips, the app allows members to book resources, submit service requests and enjoy members perks.
