PIXMA and MAXIFY Inkjet printer ranges offering new features for home and business

Canon Australia today announces new models in the PIXMA and MAXIFY inkjet ranges, the PIXMA TS3660, PIXMA TS3665, PIXMA TR7860, PIXMA TS7760, MAXIFY GX1060 MegaTank, MAXIFY GX2060 MegaTank and MAXIFY GX5560 MegaTank. Canon continues to expand its cartridge and Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) inkjet printers to enhance printing both in the home and at work.     

Canon PIXMA TS3660 / TS3665 

An ideal entry-level home printer, the Canon PIXMA TS3660 series brings even more connectivity than its previous models, now with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi channels and WPA3 Personal available, connecting to your printer is even easier.  

  

Canon PIXMA TS7760 and PIXMA TR7860 

Canon’s new additions to its inkjet printing range, the PIXMA TS7760 and TR7860, are designed to take your home study, work, or creative space to the next level. Delivering quality printouts with ease and speed, these printers will help simplify the print-at-home experience. A slight extension to the TS7760 offering, the TR7860 has been fitted with a 35-sheet ADF for added convenience and efficient multi-page document management. Whether you are a student requiring a printer for your course work, an arts and craft enthusiast running a small business from home or simply someone who appreciates fast high-quality photo prints, this new series will bring your vision to life on paper.  

The PIXMA TS7760 / TR7860 have been designed with practicality and ease of use in mind. In addition to the 2.7” colour LCD touchscreen, tilt panel and LED status light for maximum comfort, the compact size printers are space-saving in recognition of a wide variety of home set-ups, ensuring they fit seamlessly into the home, without compromising on quality. In fact, the PIXMA TS7760 / TR7860, both print 15 ipm to 10 ipm[1], and are designed to deliver high-quality document printing with excellent durability with black pigment-based inks which are more resistant to smudging from highlighters, friction and liquid spillage.  

Canon MAXIFY GX1060 MegaTank and MAXIFY GX2060 MegaTank 

With hybrid working more common than ever, the new MAXIFY GX1060 MegaTank is an entry-level business printer within the MAXIFY range for seamless integration between the home and office. Compact in size and therefore designed to slot easily into daily office routines, the 3-in-1 MegaTank printer supports intuitive, high-volume document printing with a 250-sheet paper feed capacity. The MAXIFY GX2060 MegaTank, a 4-in-1 model, comes with an added 35-sheet ADF unit for multi-page document management which can send and receive faxes easily from an at-home workspace. 

Using Canon’s MegaTank ink technology, the MAXIFY GX1060 / GX2060 MegaTank are capable of printing up to 3,000 pages in black, and 3,000 pages in colour[2] in a set of ink bottles, reducing the chances that you will run out of ink when you need it most. Users can print business documents at high speeds of 15 ipm in black and 10 ipm[3] in colour with high printing durability[4]. You can scan directly to network folders and email co-workers to access instantly.  

The printers are 15% smaller than previous MAXIFY MegaTank printers and can fit into compact spaces or against walls thanks to its full front operation design which provides easy access. The printers are simple to use with a tilting 2.7" LCD screen, status light and intuitive User Interface (UI). Users can also print, copy and scan without pause and with a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge, you can make sure your print workflow has minimal interruptions. Enjoy business-quality prints which can be printed quickly and in large volumes, with excellent readability and resistance to fading and smudging. Users can keep important data safe with simple, easy-to-navigate security settings that can be easily tailored to your environment.  

Furthermore, the PIXMA TS7760 / TR7860 and MAXIFY GX1060 MegaTank / GX2060 MegaTank, all come with a Switch UI function, a user-friendly touchscreen interface that consolidates popular functions into different icons, keeping operations simple and streamlined. Users can quickly switch between icons through the menu at the top of the screen, customise background colour and lock functions that aren’t required. Different members of a household can create their own profiles, making it easier and faster to access most frequently used settings. 

Canon MAXIFY GX5560 MegaTank 

Targeting businesses in a variety of sectors including retail, logistics and pharmacy, the Canon MAXIFY GX5560 MegaTank is a professional printer that performs to a high standard at a lower running cost. Equipped with improved media handling capabilities, 600-sheet paper capacity, a 2.7” colour touch screen and a LED status bar, this powerhouse is capable of handling high-volume printing tasks while maintaining sharp print quality due to its black pigment ink. With advanced security features, the MAXIFY GX5560 MegaTank ensures sensitive documents are protected, making it a reliable choice and cost-effective option.  
 

Availability: 

The Canon PIXMA TS3660, PIXMA TS3665, PIXMA TS7760, PIXMA TR7860, MAXIFY GX1060 MegaTank, MAXIFY GX2060 MegaTank and MAXIFY GX5560 MegaTank are scheduled to be available in Australia in autumn 2024.
