  • Steel: More durable than aluminium and heavier, which is something to think about when it comes to the gross weight capacity of your ute. It has excellent weatherproofing, security, and customisation options. It's not a surprise that steel canopies tend to be expensive. In terms of construction quality, you can expect maximum strength and highly specific applications. 
  • Canvas: Given the material used, it's lighter and more inexpensive than aluminium but sacrifices durability, weatherproofing, and security. Customisation options are also limited, which makes it functional for specific uses only.
