Awesome Camping Sites - Lake Glenbawn


Located in New South Wales, the Lake Glenbawn Holiday Park is one of Australia’s top outdoor destinations. This picturesque location is a hidden gem, offering a delightful surprise for anyone who discovers it. The human-made lake offers an expansive reservoir that supports fishing and other water-based activities. The vast park area that surrounds the lake also provides ample space for hiking, picnics, or simply spending time admiring the native wildlife.

When it comes to accommodation around Lake Glenbawn, there are several options available to explore. There are cosy cabins with beautiful views of the lake, but those who want to enjoy the full Lake Glenbawn experience can spend their time as close to nature as possible by camping outdoors.

At Lake Glenbawn. You can bring your camper, caravan, RV, or tent and enjoy the fun of a full outdoor camping adventure at any of the camping sites around the lake. There are over one hundred campsites available in the Lake Glenbawn area. In this post, we’ll list and provide a short overview of some of them.


Cub Camper


Dungog Showground Camping

Dungog Showground Camping manages a 4-acre area with 18 camping sites where you can park your RV or set up your tent. It is located in the Hunter Region, characterised by a scenic drive and an abundance of forests and mountain areas perfect for hikes.


Eudlo Riverside Camp

The Eudlo Riverside Camp is an expansive 30-acre area located on the working “Eudlo” farms. The camping site provides private access to an almost 1 km stretch of the Paterson River. This makes it perfect grounds for campers seeking water-based activities such as swimming, fishing or kayaking. It is also located on the foothills of the Barrington National Park, which means you can explore the Barrington Tops and Mount Royal National Park while you’re here.


Maiden Jewel Camping Wingen

Located beneath the majestic Wingen Maiden, this campsite is a 720-acre area with over 139 camping sites. It offers a mix of water and land-based activities, including hiking, mountain biking and fishing in the water holes and lakes around. This site is also close to the Towarri National Park.


Neverland

Neverland is a 100-acre area of pristine flat lands located in the Bridgman area. It is a perfect camping getaway with up to 21 camping sites for RVs and Tent campers. There is a large dam just nearby where campers can swim or kayak if they want. As an extra perk, Kayaks are available for free for interested campers.


Glenmoore

Glenmoore is a 250-acre campground located in the Chichester Valley. The campsite is situated on a farm that raises cattle and chemical-free vegetables. There are up to 6 sites within the 250-acre area located near the Chichester River and Dam. This site allows all kinds of recreational vehicles and tent campers. All the sites are near the water which means you can explore several water-based activities while you’re there.
