Airlie Beach Festival of Music Line-Up has X-Factor!

Natalie Bassingthwaighte is about to be transported from Australia’s television screens to the Heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Together with her band ‘Rogue Traders’, the singer, actress and household name, will be bringing the house down at the 10th anniversary Airlie Beach Festival of Music from November 4-6. Additional artists such as Ben Lee, Mi-Sex, The Hillbilly Goats will also be playing with more line-up accountments to come. Hamilton Island Endurance Series

Date: From 1 May – 20 November

Spanning May through to November, the Hamilton Island Endurance Series puts athletes to the test as they compete in events set in the stunning island channels, beaches, and off-road trails. The event this year includes the Hilly Half Marathon, Great Whitehaven Beach Run, Hamilton Island Triathlon, and the Hamilton Island Ocean Swim.

Great Barrier Reef Festival

Date: 4 – 7 August

In the Heart of the Great Barrier Reef, Airlie Beach annually hosts the Great Barrier Reef Festival; celebrating the Reef and showcasing The Whitsundays’ lifestyle and community. Airlie Beach Race Week Festival of Sailing

Date: 11 – 18 August

In its 33rd year, the Whitsunday Sailing Club will host the Airlie Beach Race Week Festival of Sailing; a seven-day sailing event that attracts entrants from all over the world. Offshore, the Regatta provides classes from IRC competitive racing through to cruising divisions with both official sailors and volunteers competing in the event. Onshore, the Festival of Sailing is a week-long public event filled with high profile entertainment and social activities.
