Team Allen’s on the hunt for eight official Party Mix mascots to run the City2Surf

Allen’s on the hunt for Party Mix mascots to run the City2Surf

To help Australians inject a bit of FUN back into their run, Allen’s, the official Party Mix partner of City2Surf is calling out for eight lucky runners to become the official Allen’s Party Mix mascots and run the world’s biggest fun run on 11 August.

Australia is well and truly in its running era! New research from Allen’s reveals that over half of Aussies (54%) say their friends have become very serious about running in the past few months, and a third (32%) are annoyed when people make running their “personality”. Running has become so serious for some that they’ve admitted to lying to their boss about their whereabouts (5%), sneaking out of a celebration (8%), or faking a medical appointment (15%), so that they could fit a run into their day.

The Allen’s Party Mix mascots will inject the FUN into fun run, dressing as iconic Allen’s Party Mix lollies including Snakes Alive, Frogs Alive, Milk Bottle, Peaches & Cream, Banana, Black Cat, Strawberries & Cream or even a Jelly Baby.

Each lucky official Allen’s Party Mix mascot will win free entry in this year's City2Surf, a hamper of Allen’s goodies and a voucher to go towards their next running race.

With entries selling quickly for City2Surf, Allen’s is offering one of the last chances to participate in the nation’s biggest fun run. For those who aren’t runners, cheer and share pics of the Allen’s Party Mix mascots because FUN shared is FUN doubled, just like when you share a lolly.”
