eSalon, The First and Only Custom Home Hair Colour Company, Expands Its One-of-a-Kind, Salon-Quality Products and Service to Australia New Zealand

The Award-Winning, Made-to-Order Hair Colour is Delivered Directly to Your Door With Everything Needed to Colour at Home Like a Pro

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Dec. 8, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrating 10 years of innovation and success, eSalon, the award-winning, first and only truly custom home hair colour brand which launched in Los Angeles, CA, is bringing its innovative service to Australia[1] and New Zealand[2] clients. Never premixed or premade, eSalon's truly customised, professional-grade hair colour is made-to-order and shipped directly to their door with everything needed to colour at home, including personalised instructions and access to licensed colourists via phone or email.

"As the leader in personalised beauty, we're thrilled to introduce our salon-quality custom hair colour to Australia and New Zealand clients," said Graham Jones, CEO of eSalon. "Our mission has always been to continue to reinvent the way women colour, treat and style their hair and to make customised beauty accessible to everyone."

eSalon is part tech and science, and part art and beauty. The brand's patented proprietary technology makes the best of both worlds possible. To-date, the brand has dispensed over 241K unique colour combinations and has shipped over 9.3M orders throughout North America and Europe.

How does eSalon work? The colour journey begins by filling out a brief questionnaire at eSalon AU[3] or eSalon NZ[4], which collects details such as hair colour history, gray percentage, hair texture, eye colour and desired maintenance. A personal colourist will factor in the client's answers from the questionnaire, an uploaded photo (optional) and any special notes to formulate a colour specifically for them. The made-to-order formula is individually dispensed at eSalon's Los Angeles HQ with the client's name on the bottle, and then hand-packed and shipped to their door. Every order is processed and handled with precision, personalization and care. In-house licensed colourists are also on-call to give advice and guidance throughout the entire process – from the online questionnaire to colour application. eSalon also offers expert guidance through helpful how-to videos and step-by-step application tutorials located on its Colour Mastery blog.

How customizable is eSalon's hair colour?Whether clients are going for a complete colour change, or want to add a touch of copper, eSalon can alter each individual  formula down to a 1/4th of a shade. eSalon offers both permanent and demi-permanent hair colour formulas with professional-grade, long-lasting pigments. eSalon also allows clients to achieve a sunkissed glow with its Light Set[5], which offers six colour options for balayage highlights at-home.

What's inside the box?In addition to your custom colour and developer, each eSalon order includes everything needed to apply colour like a pro. This includes personalised instructions, two pairs of non-latex gloves, an application brush, shampoo and conditioner packets, as well as a stain guard and a stain remover.

How much does eSalon cost?In Australia, a single eSalon Colour Set costs $61. However, if clients sign-up for a Colour Plan, the Colour Set is $49 and is auto shipped on a set schedule, with the option to skip, pause or cancel at any time. In New Zealand, a single eSalon Color Set costs $67.50 and on the Colour Plan it costs $54.

Access to eSalon's Award-Winning Premium Hair Care ProductsIn addition to custom hair colour, clients in Australia and New Zealand will also have access to eSalon's award-winning, premium and colour-safe hair care products ranging from shampoos and conditioners to leave-in treatments, moisturizing masks and other styling products. These multitasking formulas work together to protect, revive and extend the life of hair colour.

eSalon's Sustainability PromiseAs a brand rooted in innovation, eSalon is continuing to evolve its sustainability efforts, including performing 3rd party lab testing to ensure products are free of heavy metals and other toxic chemicals and using more sustainable packaging across the product line. eSalon has also created a task force dedicated to improving sustainability within its operations, including transitioning its packaging to Post Consumer Resin and regularly donating excess product to Habitat For Humanity and local homeless shelters.
