Holcim Australia Unveils New Brand Identity

  • Written by: The Times

Holcim Australia, a leader in innovative and sustainable building materials, today announced its new brand identity, aligning with its global vision for greener cities and smarter infrastructure. This updated identity reflects the company’s commitment to delivering environmentally sustainable and innovative building solutions.

The new brand identity will be the first refresh for Holcim in Australia since its acquisition from Cemex in 2009, and will be unveiled at the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Conference today.

With a commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, the new brand identity helps Holcim Australia to address the evolving needs of customers, communities, and the construction industry.

George Agriogiannis, CEO of Holcim Australia and New Zealand, said: “Our new brand represents more than just a fresh look – it embodies our ambition to lead the way in creating a sustainable future for construction. Aligned with our global company, we are focused on innovative and sustainable solutions and to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Our new brand identity reflects who we are today and the exciting journey ahead.”

George added, “This consolidates our deep commitment to innovative products like ECOPact low-carbon concrete, high-strength DYNAMax, and FutureCast precast concrete solutions which are transforming construction by reducing material use. Coupled with our ongoing trials of electric vehicles and the introduction of renewable energy powering our facilities, we are excited to showcase our commitment to sustainability. These advancements enable us to better support our customers in achieving their environmental targets and construction goals.”

Today’s announcement marks the start of a broader two-to-three-year project, during which Holcim Australia will progressively update more than 250 sites and its heavy vehicle fleet to reflect the new identity. This follows Holcim New Zealand’s brand refresh in April 2023, aligning with Holcim globally and reinforcing its commitment to sustainable building solutions.
