Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam, marking the first Hilton Garden Inn in South Korea. Situated in the center of the Gangnam Business District, south of the Han River in Seoul, the hotel offers bright and airy accommodations for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel owned by JOON TOWER is managed by Hilton.

“With more than 900 hotels in 50 countries and territories around the world, Hilton Garden Inn has one of our largest number of hotels within the Hilton portfolio. Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam is a stunning addition to our rapidly growing Hilton Garden Inn brand, combining upscale yet affordable accommodations with positive, upbeat service and value-added amenities. I am thrilled to see the brand enter yet another gateway city in Asia Pacific and am confident that the hotel meets the diverse needs of both domestic and international travelers, when travel returns,” said Jenny Milos, vice president, Focused Service and All Suites Brands, Asia Pacific, Hilton.

Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam is 30 kilometers from Gimpo Airport and 65 kilometers from Incheon International Airport. “I’m delighted to successfully open Hilton’s first Hilton Garden Inn in South Korea today. I would like to thank the owning company for their great support and my team for their outstanding commitment, hard work and enthusiasm in the lead-up to this opening,” said Lee, Hong-ki, general manager of Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam. “We will strive to deliver great guest experiences through the brand’s bright hearted hospitality and look forward to welcoming international travelers when the borders open in near future.”
