Goldwell x Margot Robbie at the Met Gala

For the 2026 Met Gala red carpet, Celebrity Stylist, Bryce Scarlett, created a defined, twisted updo for Margot Robbie using Goldwell, drawing inspiration from her sleek yet sculptural gown that fused minimalism with structure.
BREAKDOWN
Starting with towel-dried hair, Scarlett applied a small amount of Goldwell StyleSign Air-Dry BB Cream through the mid-lengths and ends to control frizz, followed by Goldwell StyleSign Everyday Blow-Dry Spray at the roots for a polished, voluminous finish. He then blow-dried the hair using a medium round brush, slightly rolling the ends under to create a soft inward bend.
Once the blowout was complete, Scarlett sprayed the Goldwell StyleSign Blowout & Texture Spray generously throughout the hair to add subtle grit and definition to the ends.
After directing the hair to one side, Scarlett began rolling the gathered section inward toward the crown, forming a vertical barrel. As he rolled, he folded the hair into itself and secured it with pins, spacing them evenly from the nape up along the length of the twist.
To finish, Scarlett used a small amount of Goldwell StyleSign Defining Wax to gently shape the bangs with her fingers.
