HOYTS Gift Cards are coming in hot this festive season

With a hot selection of blockbuster movies coming to the big screen this summer, avoid the crowds and enjoy some movie magic at HOYTS with discounted gift cards—perfect for stuffing in stockings.

This Black Friday, HOYTS is offering 15% off* gift cards in cinemas and online via the HOYTS Gift Shop, across Australia and New Zealand. This special discount will be available from Wednesday, 27 November – Monday, 2 December 2024. It’s the perfect opportunity to check some gifts off your Christmas shopping list.

HOYTS Director of Sales, Marketing and Content Stephanie Mills said that with an array of cinema experiences for audiences to choose from and an exciting line up of movies to enjoy, a HOYTS Gift Card is a logical choice for gift givers.

“Audiences can redeem their HOYTS Gift Card for cinema tickets, sweet treats, bar items or even exclusive merch, so they have full flexibility with how they wish to use it,” Stephanie said.

“This year’s impressive range of movies has something for everyone, from family favourites to rom-coms and action-packed adventures, so movie-goers of any taste can escape the summer heat and relax in front of the big screen.”

Releasing on 19 December, families can enjoy the highly anticipated Disney blockbuster Mufasa: The Lion King. Simba, having become king of the Pride Lands, is determined for his cub to follow in his footsteps while the origins of his late father Mufasa are explored.

Delving into the life of the iconic Robbie Williams, Better Man hits the big screens on Boxing Day, sharing the story of the meteoric rise, dramatic fall and remarkable resurgence of the British pop superstar.

Joining the list of Boxing Day releases, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 follows along Sonic, Knuckles and Tails as they reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before.

A HOYTS Gift Card can bring a little movie magic to anyone who unwraps it this holiday season. Elevate your movie experience in HOYTS LUX with in-cinema drinks and dining at your fingertips. Or feel the movie like never before in D-BOX, with motion recliners that move in perfect sync with the on-screen action.

The remaining funds on a HOYTS Gift Card can be put towards candy bar snacks from the immersive Treat City, a scoop of ice-cream from Ben & Jerry’s, or a pre-movie drink from Artie’s Bar & Café.

Shoppers can purchase a physical HOYTS Gift Card at their local cinema, or choose from a physical or E-Gift Card from the online Gift Shop.
