An Australian Bride and Groom Have Gone Viral After Swapping the Traditional Wedding Cake for Pizza Hut at Their Reception
Hilarious content has been captured of the moment the Pizza Hut delivery guy arrived at the wedding reception to hand deliver the pizzas to the bride and groom, who proceeded to use pizza cutters to ceremoniously cut slices, in a cheeky nod to the traditional cake-cutting moment.
The video (click here to view original) has amassed almost 9M views so far, having only been posted on Friday.
This organic viral moment comes as Pizza Hut gears up to stage Australia’s biggest ever synchronised event where 75 of their restaurants across Australia will be ‘unboxed’ next Saturday 5th September, kicking off the brand’s biggest ever transformation since inception.
Global DJ talent Hayden James and Young Franco will headline two of the events at Pizza Hut Waterloo in Sydney and Pizza Hut Docklands in Melbourne (respectively), with both stores wrapped as giant Pizza Hut pizza boxes, ready to be torn open at 6pm to reveal the new-look restaurants.
Following this major moment for the brand, a further 25 stores per week will be relaunched as part of their brand transformation, due to be completed by the end of 2026.
