Moana Hope partners with Sunbites to help launch Good Food Fund

SUNBITES GOOD FUEL FUND LAUNCHES WITH $200,000 AVAILABLE TO BENEFIT LOCAL AUSTRALIAN COMMUNITIES
With research revealing the number of Australians donating to charities has reached a 40-year low1, Sunbites has teamed up with AFWL star Moana Hope to launch Sunbites Good Fuel Fund which aims to fuel the good in Australian communities.
Sunbites Good Fuel Fund is an initiative designed to fuel local charities and shine a light on the charity heroes behind them doing good in their communities. Sunbites is committed to supporting charities who are fuelling their community and will be donating $25,000 each month until November of this year to a local charity.
Welcoming Moana Hope as the Sunbites brand ambassador, Sunbites Good Fuel Fund wants to reconnect Aussies with their local charities, helping them understand the true impact charities have on their local communities, and give them the boost and support to continue to drive good.
Moana Hope, Sunbites Good Fuel Fund ambassador said: “I am thrilled to be partnering with Sunbites and to be helping them launch Sunbites Good Fuel Fund - I’ve witnessed first-hand the wonderful contribution local charities make to communities and just how much this can go unnoticed.
“I’d encourage all Aussies to go out and recognise the good that is being done by locals, as a small contribution really can go a long way.”
Sunbites Good Fuel Fund has kicked-off by awarding Grace Favelle as this month’s local hero. Grace tirelessly contributes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and is a cancer survivor and former wish child herself. Battling acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when she was just five years old, Grace’s experience inspired her to spread messages of hope and support to other children and their families that are enduring similar situations she was once in.
Australians are able to nominate a charity hero by visiting Sunbites.com.au/goodfuelfund and describing in 150 words or less why their local charity hero should be funded. Every month until November of this year, one charity hero is chosen, and their charity is awarded $25,000.
