Dr Glenn Kolomeitz is Jacqui Lambie Network Lead NSW Candidate for the Senate

Senator Jacqui Lambie launched Dr Glenn Kolomeitz, the Jacqui Lambie Network’s lead Senate candidate for New South Wales, in the upcoming Federal Election.

“I have known Glenn for more than a decade. In that time, we have worked on improving the lives of veterans in Australia – he helped me deliver the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide,” Jacqui Lambie said today.

Glenn Kolomeitz is an international law consultant and Defence analyst who has come a long way from humble beginnings.  Glenn spent his childhood years growing up in caravans, and left school early for a job sorting prawns on a trawler.

“Glenn’s decision-making is guided by his values, which have been taught from a working-class upbringing and service to our country, “ said Senator Lambie

Glenn joined the army and served in a number of Defence roles including as an army aircraft technician, Airforce operations officer and Military Police officer. He served on operations in Timor and Afghanistan.

Since leaving the military, Glenn has represented veterans and police, all pro-bono, in mental health related criminal cases - diverting his clients from the criminal justice system into treatment.

In addition to being a voice for veterans in New South Wales and Australia, Glenn Kolomeitz is passionate about access to vocational and tertiary education for all, as well as quality rural and regional healthcare.

“I’m not a medical doctor – but I am passionate about improving programmes to support rural and regional healthcare and general practice more broadly,” said Dr Kolomeitz.

Senator Lambie says “I am asking the people of NSW to get behind Glenn as a real alternative to the two major parties.

“People before politics” – that’s the Jacqui Lambie Network motto, and that’s what I know Glenn will do for New South Wales.”
