Love Without Borders: ‘Second Marriage At First Sight’ Opens Casting Call for Melbourne Singles Willing to Relocate for Romance

Fans of Married At First Sight UK and Married At First Sight Australia are about to see the experiment taken to bold new heights, with the launch of Second Marriage At First Sight — a brand-new international spin on the global phenomenon.
Across 24 episodes, four British MAFS legends and four Australian MAFS favourites will return to the experiment, ready to open their hearts once more in the search for lasting love. But this time, the stakes are higher than ever.
In a dramatic twist, the Brits will be matched with brand-new Australian partners, while the Australians will be paired with strangers from the UK. The experiment will begin in Britain, where each newly matched couple must navigate cultural differences, lingering emotional scars, and the reality of building a relationship across continents.
After testing their compatibility abroad, the couples will then travel to Australia to meet friends and family on the other side of the world — before facing the ultimate decision: who is willing to uproot their entire life for love?
Will beach-loving Aussies be tempted to swap sunshine for Blighty? Or will British romantics trade grey skies for a fresh start Down Under? For these second-time brides and grooms, the gamble goes far beyond romance. Careers, friendships and homes all hang in the balance as one half of each couple considers relocating across the globe in pursuit of a new life and a new love.
In an exciting first for the franchise, Second Marriage At First Sight has opened its dating database to the public — and Melbourne singles are being urged to apply.
