Bluey’s World season extended

Anticipation is reaching fever pitch as Bluey fans across Australia and the world eagerly await the opening of Bluey’s World Brisbane next month.

Newly released Bluey’s World images offer fans their first glimpse into the vibrant, larger-than-life sets that bring the iconic Heeler home, backyard and beyond to life. The visuals showcase key locations as seen on the hit TV show, including the front porch and living room, where so many of Bluey and Bingo’s hilarious games unfold.

The Bluey’s World guided experience begins as visitors enter the familiar front door of Bluey’s home. Bluey and Bingo love to play games, but Unicorse has had enough! He hatches a daring plan to freeze Bluey and Bingo. Now it’s up to visitors, along with some familiar faces, including the fan-favourite garden gnomes, to find Bluey and Bingo and unfreeze them. Things don’t always go to plan, but with a little teamwork, and endless fun, anything is possible.

Kate O’Connor, Director Brands and Licensing, BBC Studios ANZ said “Bluey’s World is the place to come for a fun-filled immersive adventure through the Heeler’s home and beyond. With every detail meticulously brought to life in large scale (including hidden long dogs), Bluey’s neighbourhood to play in at the end, plus a fantastic range of exclusive merchandise at Alfie’s Gift Shop, there is something to excite every Bluey fan!”

Bluey’s World has been crafted with the creative input of Joe Brumm, the creator of Bluey, and Suzy Brumm, as well as the talented team from Ludo Studio, ensuring the experience stays true to the show’s heart and spirit. Their involvement has shaped the storyline, bringing to life new and familiar characters while maintaining the magic and warmth that fans adore.

Andrew Kay, Producer, Bluey’s World said “With interactive play zones, photo opportunities with beloved characters, and unforgettable moments around every corner, Bluey’s World is the ultimate experience for families, fans, and anyone who loves the joy, magic, and heartwarming adventure of Bluey.”

Richard Dinnen, Creative Technical Director, Bluey’s World said “We’ve poured our hearts into every detail of Bluey’s World to truly immerse fans in Bluey’s playful universe. From the vibrant furnishings to the interactive play areas, we’ve created a space where friends and families can step right into the fun that Bluey is all about.”

Bluey’s World opens on 7 November 2024, with the official ‘blue carpet’ opening taking place on 12 November 2024.

Due to overwhelming demand, the Bluey’s World season has been extended until September 2025. Fans are encouraged to keep an eye out for the next release of tickets, with sales beginning on Monday 21 October 2024. Tickets are expected to sell fast, so visitors should plan ahead to secure their spot. For ticket information and to book visit blueysworld.com.

Patrica O’Callaghan, CEO Tourism and Events Queensland said “Bluey is a global superstar and has caught the attention of the world, with fans fascinated to come and explore Bluey’s hometown. There is no doubt visitors to Bluey’s World will be wowed by this incredible, interactive experience that is just like walking onto the set of Bluey, for real life. We’re inviting families and fans of Bluey to extend their visit and come and play in Brisbane and more broadly, explore right around Queensland and enjoy the local lifestyle.”

Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said Bluey showcases the best of Brisbane, and we can’t wait to share our fantastic lifestyle with the world, for real life. Residents and visitors alike will soon be able to immerse themselves in the Heeler family’s world, with the interactive experience extended until September 2025. We know this attraction will bring fans from across the world to Brisbane, creating more to see and do in our city, boosting our economy and supporting local jobs.”

Bluey’s World is produced by BBC Studios and HVK World and supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland, and Brisbane City Council via Brisbane Economic Development Agency.
