Camden Valley Inn Invites Dads to Raise a Glass This Father’s Day

Jack Daniel’s Father’s Day Whiskey Tasting
The South-West Sydney venue is pairing premium Jack Daniel’s whiskey, a three-course menu and expert storytelling for an evening designed for dads and whiskey lovers.

For those looking to move beyond the traditional socks, ties and novelty mugs this Father’s Day, Camden Valley Inn is offering dads the chance to celebrate with an evening of premium whiskey, matched dining and expert storytelling.

On Friday 4 September, the South-West Sydney venue will host an exclusive Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Masterclass, giving guests the opportunity to explore the heritage, craftsmanship and distinctive flavours behind one of the world’s most recognisable whiskey brands.

Led by Jack Daniel’s State Brand Ambassador Andy Tsai, the two-hour experience is designed to be as much about the stories behind the spirit as it is about tasting it.

Guests will be taken through a guided tasting of the Jack Daniel’s range, learning about the brand’s history and whiskey-making process while enjoying a specially curated three-course menu designed to complement the flavours of each pour.

The evening will begin with a welcome cocktail before moving into the guided whiskey tasting and food pairing experience, with Andy Tsai sharing insights into the history, production and traditions that have shaped Jack Daniel’s.

Guests will enjoy:

  • A welcome cocktail on arrival
  • A guided tasting of premium Jack Daniel’s whiskeys
  • A three-course dinner with specially matched food pairings
  • Expert insights and storytelling from Jack Daniel’s State Brand Ambassador Andy Tsai
  • An opportunity to discover the history, craftsmanship and production behind the iconic whiskey brand\

“Father’s Day is a great excuse to get together and enjoy an experience rather than simply buying another traditional gift,” said Kayla Seeney, General Manager of Camden Valley Inn.

“We wanted to create an evening that feels genuinely special, whether you’re bringing Dad along, celebrating with family or simply love good whiskey and great food.

“With Andy Tsai leading the masterclass, guests will get to hear the stories behind the brand while enjoying a menu that has been carefully designed to complement the tasting experience.”

A menu made for whiskey

The evening’s three-course menu has been designed to complement the bold and complex flavours of the whiskey, pairing classic comfort food with elevated ingredients and flavours.

  • Entrée: 12-hour slow-roasted pork belly with jalapeño slaw and crispy skin chips.
  • Main: Smoked slow-roasted beef brisket with potato gratin, celeriac, apple and mustard purée, red wine jus, herb oil and caramelised pickled onion.
  • Dessert: Chocolate ganache tart with caramel, pistachio, vanilla crèmeux and fresh berries.

Set within Camden Valley Inn’s picturesque grounds, the event offers guests an opportunity to enjoy an evening away from the usual Father’s Day routine, combining dining, drinks and entertainment in one experience.

The masterclass is suitable for both whiskey enthusiasts looking to deepen their knowledge and those who are simply curious to learn more about the spirit in a relaxed setting.
