Daniel Stoten, Executive Chairman of Localsearch, says he is thrilled to see such a diverse mix of businesses recognised: “Small businesses are the backbone of our Australian economy. These businesses create jobs, contribute to economic growth, and provide unique and personalised services that larger corporations often cannot match.

“Providing exceptional customer service that results in positive online reviews can play such a critical role in the survival of small businesses. Insane customer service has held us as a business in good stead over the past 30 years, so it’s great to see small businesses understanding the importance of this largely untapped form of marketing in 2023.

“Localsearch is proud to support and celebrate these exceptional small and medium Australian businesses that have consistently demonstrated excellent customer service,” Stoten says.

Jim Noort, Director at Terry’s Locksmiths, says reviews are of critical importance to their business.

“Businesses need to ensure they have a presence and positive reviews across multiple digital platforms for visibility. In our case, as we offer a one-off emergency service, we build our clientele through both search engines and online directories like Localsearch and we encourage our customers to share their experiences online to help others find our business.”

“It's wonderful to be recognised for all the work we put in to ensure customer satisfaction -

we know that administration and communication is just as important as quality tradecraft and that's reflected in the amazing reviews we get,” Noort says.
