Proofpoint appoints Alex Lei as new Asia-Pacific and Japan Lead-PR Newswire APAC

SINGAPORE and SYDNEY, Aug. 31, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Proofpoint[1] (NASDAQ: PFPT), a leading cyber security and compliance company, today announced that it has appointed Alex Lei as its new regional leader for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ).

In his new role, Mr. Lei is responsible for leading the overall Asia-Pacific and Japan business, driving customer acquisition and developing the regional partner ecosystem in a strategically important region for Proofpoint. Based out of Singapore, Mr Lei joins Proofpoint from Dell EMC, where he was Vice President of Data Protection Solutions, having previously held senior regional leadership positions at FireEye and Symantec. Mr. Lei brings over 20 years' experience from the IT and cybersecurity industries, with a track record of driving channel-first sales organisations and aligning go-to-market strategies to customer needs in fast-moving environments.
