The Allan Government has unashamedly abandoned women and girls for the sake of political correctness by inviting ‘anyone who identifies as a woman, though they may have a different sex at birth’ to participate in an Inquiry into ‘Women’s’ Pain Survey.

Victorian Director of the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL), Jasmine Yuen said, “Many girls and women are suffering from pain in result of gynecological conditions, such as period pain and endometriosis. These pains are gender-specific and require specialized healthcare. By including non-biological females in their pain survey, they have politicized women’s healthcare in order to score on identity politics. It is both absurd and infuriating.”

“Females in Victoria have every reason to be disappointed with this Labor Government. Their behaviour towards them has been increasingly belittling and disrespectful, as indicated by the recent year-long trans awareness campaign. More disturbingly, the safety of girls and women in Victorian is are no longer protected under this government who allow trans-women to share female-specific healthcare and spaces.

“The safety, health and wellbeing of our girls and women in Victoria should not be compromised for the sake of woke, unscientific ideology. If the Allan Government genuinely cares for our girls and women, then they must draw the line on enforcing females to share their healthcare and safe spaces with biological men.”

The ACL urges the Allan Government to sweep clean its gender ideology and political correctness from our health services. All biological males and females in Victoria deserve healthcare that caters to their sex-specific needs.
