Springwood’s largest new private health hub to deliver 1,500 new jobs in priority region

Construction of a $33 million seven storey state-of-the-art healthcare facility, Springwood  Health Hub, is now underway and will provide a total of 1,500 direct and indirect jobs in  one of Queensland’s fastest growing regions.

The latest commercial project by respected property developer Rogerscorp, Springwood  Health Hub occupies a prominent position alongside the M1 highway and features  3,550sqm of space for specialist health services.

Highlighting a strong demand for new healthcare approved consulting suites in the region,  more than 50 per cent of tenancies were already secured prior to the commencement of  construction.

Anticipated to support more than 600 patients per day once complete, Springwood Health  Hub has pre-committed tenants including MyHealth GP, iMed Radiology and Southside  Endoscopy Centre, with final release tenant opportunities coming soon.

Springwood Health Hub is one of four health facilities currently under construction or in  planning by Rogerscorp. The projects build on the company’s previous success with  Everton Park Health and Childcare and a range of other commercial and residential  projects.

Rogerscorp Director Simon Rogers said Springwood Health Hub met an undersupply of  health care in the area which also had a high rate of vulnerable children compared with national and Brisbane averages.

“Springwood has an immediate and future need for additional health care services,  particularly when it comes to children,” said Mr Rogers. “Compared with Australia and  other priority health networks in Queensland, Springwood ranks highly for potentially  preventable hospitalisations, the proportion of unimmunised children, and the proportion of  developmentally vulnerable children.

“As the only purpose-built new medical facility currently planned in Springwood,  Springwood Health Hub will bring a new level of convenient, quality health care to this  underserviced region. The facility is classed 9A and will host a variety of essential services,  from consulting medical specialists to allied health providers, GPs, pharmacists and more.

“With construction already well under way and the first tenants confirmed, Springwood  Health Hub is set to become the largest privately run health facility in the region.”

Springwood Health Hub is located in one of Queensland’s most prominent positions, facing  the M1 motorway and within 10km of Logan Public and Private Hospitals, Sunnybank  Private Hospital and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital, and 4km of the new Eight Mile  Plains Satellite Hospital.

An experienced developer of commercial and healthcare projects, Rogerscorp is offering  a unique opportunity for tenants to be involved in the design and customisation of fit outs,  allowing medical professionals to create bespoke spaces to suit their needs.

Springwood Health Hub will also feature a range of building services, including ambulance  parking bays, patient drop-off zone, and large hospital grade lifts.

Construction is anticipated to be completed by December 2022, with the facility opening  from January 2023.

The final release of offices and medical suites is coming soon and range in size from 70sqm  to 937sqm. This exclusive opportunity to be located within a Class 9a health facility and  receive exposure to 140,000+ cars daily won’t last long.
