  • Written by: NewsServices.com

Club Med, the pioneer of Premium All-Inclusive holidays, today  announced the reopening of Club Med Bintan after cross-border travel restrictions were imposed for  the past two years. This exciting news follows the highly anticipated announcement of Singapore  government’s implementation of the Bintan-Batam-Singapore travel corridor. Slated to open on 8 March

this year, Club Med Bintan presents a holistic wellness getaway for guests of all ages, bringing renewed  purpose in travel at this award-winning tropical oasis.

Just a short 55-minute ferry ride from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, the 20-hectare resort is surrounded  by the raw natural beauty of Bintan Island and comes with its own 2.4-kilometre pristine private beach  overlooking the South China Sea. From a wide array of exciting land and water sports to holistic spa  and wellness experiences and healthy local and international delicacies, Club Med Bintan offers a  plethora of specially curated activities for the whole family to eat well, move well and feel well

“Since the announcement of the quarantine-free travel corridor by Indonesia, we saw an 83 percent  increase in web traffic from Singaporean travellers within a span of just three days. Similarly, bookings  for the resort also increased by four times during the same period. We anticipate that with this new  announcement from Singapore, the surge will be even greater.” said Rachael Harding, Chief  Executive Officer, East and South Asia & Pacific Markets, Club Med. “Finally after two years, our  guests can get back to a holistic wellness escape at Club Med Bintan, just a short ferry ride from  Singapore.”

Enhanced Safety Protocols Offer Guests a Peace of Mind

Guests can expect to return to same all-inclusive  Club Med signature formula of great people, transformative experiences and idyllic destinations. Even  more appreciated would be the spacious outdoor area and closeness to nature that make coming back  Club Med Bintan Island a reassuring one.

In addition, the brand has developed Club Med’s Safe Together guest assurance program with the  support of Ecolab, a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services.
