Navigating Your Style

It can be overwhelming to navigate your style journey, especially if you’re trying to deal with parts of your body you’re not totally okay with.

With that, let’s take a look at some practical advice that will start to help you build a confident, versatile wardrobe.

The Fit is Everything: The most disheartening situation is when you purchase an item and it doesn't fit but hope it will fit someday. My advice? Don't fight it if it doesn't fit now, let it go. Your current shape is admirable, celebrate it, don’t aspire to something else. A good dressmaker can do wonders.

Build on Basics: I love playing with trends, these are the pieces that make up the core of your wardrobe and should be timeless and unique clothes. These basics serve as the canvas to your personal style where you can easily add the more adventurous pieces into the mix.

Patience Pays Off: Impulse decisions are easy in the thrill of sales and the frenzy of fashion. True style though, isn’t about imitating entire outfits and hoarding discounted clothes. It’s about thoughtful accumulation and buying what’s right for your lifestyle right now. It’s a job that takes time, so build a wardrobe that speaks of who you are and where you’re going.

Look at people like you for inspiration. Honestly, it’s natural to feel disheartened by online shopping or even in stores. Sometimes something can look incredible on someone else but not work like it should on you. If you want to hire a beautiful dress or a handbag, you can easily contact Passion For Fashion.
