Hush’s secret recipe: A taste of Possum Magic at West HQ this June

  • Written by: The Times

West HQ, premier hospitality venue, is taking the community on a journey of Aussie bush magic this June as they celebrate a month of family friendly activities.

Possum Magic, The Stage Show is coming to the Sydney Coliseum Theatre, Rooty Hill on 12 and 13 July and bringing a little extra magic to the venue is Gelatissimo’s special flavour: Hush’s Candy Wonderland, a magical candy flavoured gelato, naturally coloured with spirulina and topped with sprinkles.

“We’re excited to have Hush’s Candy Wonderland available at Gelatissimo for all the children who have been enchanted by Mem Fox and Julie Viva’s beloved children’s book, Possum Magic,” said Sanela Sapardic , Gelatissimo Specialist at West HQ.

“You can also create endless bush magic ice cream flavours and unlike Hush they won’t disappear! With a scoop of coconut and a scoop chocolate you can have your own bite of Hush’s favourite lamington!“

To further celebrate, West HQ will also be hosting family nights every Tuesday night in June at Eat St. Central! There will be balloon artistry and face painting from 5pm and complimentary kids’ meals with each adult meal purchased at Steak & Oyster Co. by Sean Connolly and Harriet’s Chicken.

June family night continues throughout the venue with Steak & Oyster Co. by Sean Connolly serving up Braised Beef Yorkshire Pudding or Ragu Meatloaf with a complimentary drink and Harriet’s Chicken adding the delicious Chicken &Mushroom Pot Pie or Chicken & Vegetable Winter Soup with charred flatbread alongside a complimentary drink.

New Town Thai Restaurant, the Heart of Authentic flavours, is also offering a $29 Winter Warming Meal consisting of any two curries of your choosing including Lamb Shank, Massaman Curry, Thai Yellow Curry and Thai Green curry alongside two bowls of fragrant rice.
