, Ltd. ("MSteam"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group's associated company, Spackman Media Group Limited ("Spackman Media Group"), premiered on Korea's tvN on May 11 with its second episode ranking first in its time slot among both cable and terrestrial channels according to Nielsen Korea.

Starring Wi Ha-jun of Spackman Media Group, THE MIDNIGHT ROMANCE IN HAGWON is also available for streaming on over-the-top ("OTT") platforms such as TVING in Korea, US-based Viki and Hong Kong-based Viu in selected regions. It is directed by Ahn Pan-seok, who previously collaborated with Wi Ha-jun in the hit love series SOMETHING IN THE RAIN (2018), which starred iconic Korean actress Son Ye-jin of Spackman Media Group.

Produced by Studio Dragon and JS Pictures, the ratings for the second episode recorded an average of 5.5% and a peak of 6.2% in the Seoul metropolitan area, and an average of 5.2% and a peak of 5.6% nationwide. Moreover, each of its first four episodes released to date, with its latest episode broadcasted on May 19, has achieved the highest daily average cable TV viewership ratings nationwide in Korea based on data from Nielsen Korea[1].

In THE MIDNIGHT ROMANCE IN HAGWON, Wi Ha-jun of Spackman Media Group portrays as Lee Joon-ho, a cheeky student who gains admission into a prestigious university with the help of a seasoned private academy instructor Seo Hye-jin (played by Jung Ryeo-won). As he studies under her guidance, Lee Joon-ho develops deep feelings for her, and she becomes his enduring first love. A decade later, Lee Joon-ho quits his job at a large company that guarantees him a solid career and returns to the academy, where a secret romance rekindles between the two.

Wi Ha-jun of Spackman Media Group became a worldwide sensation with his role as Hwang Jun-ho, a policeman in the first season of SQUID GAME. He is set to return in the highly anticipated second season of the international breakout hit alongside the original cast comprising Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun and Gong Yoo.

Previously, Wi Ha-jun starred in original crime action drama series THE WORST OF EVIL (2023), which premiered exclusively on Disney+ and was ranked #1 in Korea, #2 in Singapore and Top 10 in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Turkey in October 2023, based on FlixPatrol, a website that monitors streaming ratings worldwide.

In December last year, Wi Ha-jun won the rising star award in the 2023 Korea First Brand Awards, following his chart-topping Netflix drama, LITTLE WOMEN (2022), which was filmed in Singapore and Korea. According to Flixpatrol.com, the drama took the top spot in Taiwan, Indonesia and Japan and ranked 8th globally on Netflix as of October 8, 2022. The series featured iconic landmarks in Singapore such as Marina Bay Sands and The Fullerton Hotel.

In February 2022, he was selected as the South Korea ambassador for Swiss luxury watchmaker, TAG Heuer. He was also appointed as the ambassador for his hometown, Wando-gun of South Korea in January 2022.

Wi Ha-jun also headlined in highly popular K-drama BAD AND CRAZY (2021), which reached first place in viewership ratings for consecutive weekends after its release on 17 December 2021.

In addition to Wi Ha-jun, MSteam represents pre-eminent Korean actress Son Ye-jin, who starred in the hit romance drama CRASH LANDING ON YOU (2020) and SOMETHING IN THE RAIN (2018), and top actress Lee Min-jung, who won the Top Excellence Award at the 2020 APAN Star Awards.

SEGL owns a 100% equity interest in Studio Take Co., Ltd. ("Studio Take") which produced STONE SKIPPING (2020) and THE BOX (2021). Its latest film, A MAN OF REASON, premiered in the US at the 42nd Hawaii International Film Festival. The film was also invited to the 47th Toronto International Film Festival, the largest film festival in North America, and the 55th Sitges Film Festival, one of the world's top three genre film festivals. Studio Take shall also release an upcoming film, THE GUEST, which is at the post-production stage and scheduled to be released in 2024.

SEGL owns Novus Mediacorp Co., Ltd. Through the acquisition of Greenlight Content, the Group's first co-produced drama, MY SECRET TERRIUS, starring top Korean star, So Ji Sub, achieved #1 in drama viewership ratings for its time slot and recorded double digits for its highest viewership ratings. The Company owns a 100% equity interest in Simplex Films Limited ("Simplex Films") which is an early stage film production firm. The maiden film of Simplex Films, JESTERS: THE GAME CHANGERS (2019), was released in Korea on 21 August 2019. Simplex Films has several line-up of films including HURRICANE BROTHERS (working title).

The Company owns a 20% equity interest in The Makers Studio Co. Ltd., which plans to produce and release four upcoming films, the first of which will be THE ISLAND OF THE GHOST'S WAIL, a comedy horror film.

The Company holds an effective shareholding interest of 43.88% in Spackman Media Group Limited ("SMGL").
