SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 23 September 2026 – Prudential Singapore ("Prudential") announced today that customers will be able to access wealth accumulation products such as unit trusts through its tied-agency financial representatives in 2027.

The life insurer is expanding the range of advisory solutions available through its agency force. Currently, such products are available only through the company's financial advisory arm, Prudential Financial Advisers Singapore (PFA). To meet growing demand for more holistic financial advisory, the company will expand access to unit trusts to customers served by all of its tied agency's financial representatives as well in 2027. This means that unit trusts will be made available across all 5,400 financial representatives.

Prudential has one of the largest tied agencies in Singapore and its representatives have exclusive rights to sell the life insurer's products. It is the first life insurer in Singapore to enable its tied-agency financial representatives to distribute unit trusts, complementing the health and protection, savings and investment solutions they are already offering. They are giving customers more options to build for long-term wealth accumulation and manage their wealth for retirement.

The expanded offering will make it easier for customers to receive more holistic advice from their Prudential financial representatives, covering protection, health, savings and retirement wealth planning solutions in one conversation. By adding access to professionally managed unit trusts, Prudential aims to help customers build diversified portfolios aligned with their risk profile, life stage and retirement goals.

In order to advise customers on unit trusts, the financial representatives will complete the required training and attain Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) certification.
