SunRice’s tasty snack innovation

SunRice’s tasty snack innovation packs a protein punch with 10g  protein per serve

SunRice is adding an innovative new product to healthy snack aisles with the launch of SunRice Protein Chips,  specifically designed to leave consumers feeling fuller for longer, without compromising on taste.

Many Australians are placing greater importance on their health and wellness, seeking out more benefits from the  foods they eat.

42% of snack launches in AU and NZ featured a protein claim in 20221. Protein claims on savoury snacks are a  relatively new space.

Taste is still the most important thing that Aussies look for in their snacks2

The launch of SunRice Protein Chips in Coles and Woolworths nationally from November will provide a tasty snack  alternative for consumers seeking to satisfy their savoury cravings within a healthy lifestyle.

With 10g of plant protein per 50g pack and a four-star health rating, the SunRice Protein Chips also have no artificial  colours, no preservatives and are gluten free.

SunRice Chief Marketing Officer, Tamara Howe said, “We’re excited to be launching new SunRice Protein Chips. With  more Australians focusing on healthier snacks, SunRice Protein Chips are made with the goodness of rice, have at least  10g of plant protein in each 50g bag and are the perfect afternoon savoury snack that you can feel good about”.

Available in two delicious flavours – Barbeque and Sour Cream & Chives - these tasty snackable squares of crunchy  goodness have a RRP of $5 for a 50g pack.

Find them in the general snack aisle in Coles from 23 October and in the healthy snack aisle in Woolworths from 6  November 2023.
