2-for-1 main meals and Seniors’ Luncheons at The Komo

From Monday to Thursday, seniors can savor the flavors of The Komo with a remarkable 2-for-1 main meal offer for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This deal is available on any main meal from the restaurant's extensive menu. All that's required is a seniors' card, presented when ordering at the bar. This offer allows seniors to indulge in a diverse array of dishes, and the second meal of equal or lesser value is absolutely complimentary. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary experience.


The Komo also hosts popular monthly Seniors’ Luncheons. Hosted upstairs in their Level 1 event room, these gatherings are the perfect blend of great food, even better company, and live entertainment - all for just $35 per person. Each ticket provides punters with a sumptuous main meal, dessert and unlimited tea and coffee while Nik Phillips hosts the live music. The next Senior’s Luncheon Event is scheduled for Thursday, October 12th, 2023, from 12 pm to 3 pm. Tickets can be purchased either over the phone or at The Komo venue itself.


Morning Tai Chi by the water

For those who enjoy a tranquil start to their day, Tai Chi by Centenary Lakes is a hit. Tai Chi is a low-impact exercise that's perfect for seniors looking to stay active and maintain balance.


Hosted by the Australian Academy of Tai Chi and Qigong, learn the relaxing exercises step by step each week and progress from beginners, to intermediate then through to advanced. Friendly and fully qualified experienced instructors host each session. 


Day trip to the Bribie Island Seaside Museum

For seniors interested in history and culture, the Bribie Island Seaside Museum is a must-visit destination. This open-air museum showcases the region's rich history with restored buildings, vintage cars, and exhibitions.
