Skyborn Renewables appoints new CFO and CInO

HAMBURG, GERMANY - EQS Newswire - 11 May 2023 - Willem Mentz has been appointed as Skyborn Renewables' Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Bill Gutterman has been appointed as Chief Investment Officer (CInO), effective 15 May 2023. They will be replacing João Metelo, who currently holds the position of Chief Investment & Financial Officer (CIFO) and has decided to exit Skyborn.

A qualified Chartered Accountant from Cape Town in South Africa, Willem Mentz brings over 20 years of experience from the SUEZ Group, where he held various senior finance roles in the UK, Benelux & Germany, and France.

Bill Gutterman began his career as an Analyst in the Global Energy & Power Group at Citigroup,and joins Skyborn from Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), where he was most recently a Principal on the investment team with a focus on electricity sector investments.

Skyborn was launched by GIP, a leading independent global infrastructure investor, in September 2022, following the acquisition of 100% of wpd's offshore wind business in September last year.
