Crypto Queen's 'lightbulb moment' in local library

Sydel Sierra lives in a multimillion dollar mansion and drives an Aston Martin but it was in the musky bookshelves of her local public library at South Perth that her manifesto to achieving extreme wealth was written.

The 35 year old ‘mum to be’ was still in her mid twenties at the time and had just struck it rich, literally, with a very speculative Cryptocurrency investment that turned $900 into more than $110,000 in just 90 days.

It was life changing, and got her thinking, in fact wanting to help others achieve a similar financial freedom.

So she started running somewhat amateur seminars at the library and a back room of the Leederville Hotel, initially just teaching friends and family how to invest in the digital money system.

It worked, and now Digital Wealth Group (DWG) has helped more than 10,000 people become savvy Crypto investors and more than 50 become ‘Crypto multimillionaires’, which by definition, is someone with more than $2 million in Crypto wealth (even someone with $1.99 million is not considered to be a ‘Crypto multimillionaire’).

“It started out much like most other side hustles - we were just hoping someone would take us seriously,” she laughs.

“We always knew our teachings and formula when it came to Crypto was rock solid; for the ‘business’ however that would eventually become DWG, we had to trust the process.

“I think back to those early days in the South Perth Library - there were maybe 10 of us altogether and we used an old bingo light projector to shine up on the wall, and that really was our lightbulb moment - literally - that maybe there’s something in this.

“At the Leederville Hotel, you could smell the stench of beer coming in through the windows.

“You know what though, those original clients, who were just our friends and family who were probably just giving us a go at the time, are now multimillionaires.”

Sydel’s own journey to multimillionaire status did indeed start when she threw $900 at Crypto - which she openly admits she was prepared to lose - and within three months has skyrocketed past $110,000.

She then cashed out and bought 26 Bitcoins, and the rest is history. Now, she’s on a crusade to help other people - mainly women - escape cost of living pressures through some considered Crypto investing.

“It was 2017 and I was working a job that barely paid $1000 per week,” she remembers.

“I was hearing a lot about Cryptocurrency, just like everyone else, and thought, ‘well, I’ve got $900 here, why not’, and put it all in a couple of Cryptos, one of which was Neo.

“90 days later, it was worth $110,000, and it changed my life forever.

“So many people are sceptical of Cryptocurrency, and that’s understandable, but the reality is, it’s seen the best returns of any asset class over the past 10 years - and I’m talking shares, property, term deposits; so why wouldn’t you want to get in on that?

“I hear stories of everyday people doing it tough, and I just think, you don’t have to - I’m proof of that.“If you get your head around Crypto, and it’s not that hard, you can avoid all that financial stress.

“I teach a very conservative investing approach initially, say $100 per week for a month or so just to get started, till people can see a return - that way the risk is minimal.”

Sierra’s own success is what sparked her passion to help others build significant wealth too, and has just released her second book, All Time High, in which she gives a step by step guide on how beginners can get in on the Cryptocurrency game for less than a night out at the movies.

Through Digital Wealth Group, she has a goal of helping 30,000 people achieve ‘financial sovereignty’ - that is, control of one’s own financial situation.

“One single mother I helped turned $11,000 into $130,000 in less than a year, she bought a new car with cash and now has $100,000 in savings,” she smiles.

“I’m about to become a mum myself for the first time and it's equal parts daunting and exciting.

“So many people are surprised when they see how well I’ve been able to do from Cryptocurrency but honestly, all I want is to help them now - especially other young parents - so they can raise their kids free from the shackles of debt, and have the choice of staying home with them with no financial pressure whatsoever.”
